When should I RSVP by?
We ask that you RSVP as soon as you can, so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is September 15, 2025.
What if I can't make it?
Your presence will be missed. We ask that you RSVP "No" as soon as possible. If you have already RSVP'ed "Yes," but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify the bride at 217-891-6021.
What if I didn't RSVP in time?
If we do not receive your RSVP by September 15th, 2025, it will automatically be marked "no." We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed within your invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people are in attendance. Thank you for understanding.
Are children welcome?
Unless your children are listed on your invite, we respectfully ask you to make other arrangements for your children. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night or a fun night out.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat.
Where should I stay?
First, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We have provided a block of rooms at the Crowne Plaza, Springfield for the weekend. Please use the tab above, marked "Travel" to access and book a room at a discounted rate. You do not have to choose the Crowne Plaza, but we hope it helps in your search.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us.
Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like to share with us.
Will there be an open bar?
Sort of! There will be wine, beer, soft drinks, and a signature drink available during dinner and the party. Premium liquor will be available to purchase via cash bar.
Is the wedding outside?
Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully), the ceremony will be outside on the venue's terrace. The reception will be inside. Please make sure to dress appropriately. In the event of adverse weather, we will do the ceremony inside the reception hall.
What is the dress code?
We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day. We ask that you wear cocktail dress. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, mid-length dresses, or jumpsuits/ pantsuits. Men can wear long or short-sleeved dress shirts, suits, and pants. We ask that you refrain from wearing predominantly white and red attire.
